A Forest for El Greco

This series was shot in the Mesa Verde National Park. This part had been burned in a fire several years ago. I found the twisted and elongated trees, and lush sky, when shot in infrared, could yield dense apocalyptic images that reminded me of El Greco's late mannerist work.
